Terms of Use
Last updated: October 7, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and [legal name of the owner or business] ("we", "us"), who run Orthoglot. By creating an account or using Orthoglot you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Orthoglot
You must be 18 or older and live in the United States to create an account. You may let children you are the parent, guardian or teacher of use Orthoglot under your account. You are responsible for how they use it and for the information you or they enter. If you use Orthoglot as a teacher, you confirm that your school allows it.
2. Your account
Keep your password private. Orthoglot Coach is protected by your password so children can't change settings; don't share it with them. Tell us at [contact email] if you think someone else has used your account.
3. Plans and payment
The free plan includes one word list of up to 25 words and up to three learners. The paid plan adds more lists, tags, stars, combined tests and AI word details, with a daily limit on AI use. Prices, billing and cancellation terms will be shown before you pay. [Refund and cancellation terms to be added with payments.]
4. AI word details
AI-written sentences, definitions, spelling tips, word studies and word origins can contain mistakes. Please check them, especially before a child relies on them. You can edit or clear the sentence, definition, spelling tips and word origin.
5. Your content
Your word lists, sentences and notes belong to you. You give us permission to store, copy and process them only as needed to run Orthoglot for you. Don't enter anything you don't have the right to use, or anything harmful or unlawful.
6. Acceptable use
Don't try to get into other accounts, overload or disrupt the service, get around plan limits, or use Orthoglot to collect information about children for any purpose other than their own spelling practice.
7. Changes and availability
We may change, add or remove features. We work to keep Orthoglot available but can't promise it will always be online or free of errors. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell account holders by email.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using Orthoglot at any time and delete your account yourself (Orthoglot Coach → Your Account → Delete my account), or ask us to delete it at [contact email]. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
9. Disclaimers and limits
Orthoglot is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [state], United States.
11. Contact
